Job Requirements
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds
- Move quickly and efficiently around the café
- Ability to hear and communicate effectively in English
- Good vision and ability to see details at close range
- Flexibility to bend, squat, and stand for extended periods
- Capable of operating cash register or tablet devices
- Ability to speak clearly and project voice
- Maintain a minimum of 3 shifts per week
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a café or restaurant setting preferred but not required
- A passion for working in a customer-facing role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Flexibility to attend occasional team meetings or trainings outside regular hours
- Consistent attendance and reliability
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and deliver exceptional service
- Explain beverage and food options and answer customer questions
- Handle phone inquiries, process orders, and manage mobile app operations
- Maintain a calm and welcoming presence during busy periods
- Craft consistent, high-quality beverages following company standards
- Maintain coffee equipment and understand coffee and tea origins and flavor profiles
- Prepare food according to recipes, maintain a clean prep area, and report safety hazards
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues through clear communication and active listening
- Report operational inconsistencies and support a team-oriented approach
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment and restock shelves
- Follow all company procedures for cash handling, food safety, sanitation, and hygiene
- Adhere to all policies in the company’s employee handbook
- Perform any other tasks assigned to meet company goals
