The Full-Time Shift Lead position is located in Alfred’s Arts District location. This role is a critical position within the cafe, reporting directly to the Cafe Manager and functioning as an essential support to the daily cafe operations. Classified as a non-exempt role, this position offers a wage of $18.62 per hour plus tips, translating to approximately $22.50 - $26.50 per hour. As a Shift Lead, you will be actively involved in managing busy and fast-paced shifts while fostering a sense of teamwork and hospitality excellence. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining operational flow, coaching team members, and ensuring consistent service and product quality across the board.

The Shift Lead role requires leading by example, setting the tone on the floor through accountability and hands-on leadership. You will be instrumental in delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring that every guest interaction aligns with Alfred’s high hospitality standards. Your duties will involve addressing guest inquiries and concerns, managing operational activities such as inventory, cleanliness, and cash handling, and supporting staff onboarding and development.
