Job Requirements
- must be 16 years of age or older
- ability to stand and walk for an eight-hour shift
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push a cart up to 150 lbs
- ability to work weekends, holidays, and varied hours
Job Qualifications
- previous experience in a full-service restaurant preferred
- proven customer service skills
- ability to work in an upscale, fast-paced environment
- ability to work well in a team atmosphere under pressure
- knowledge of the appropriate table settings and flat ware
- knowledge of all menu items and ingredients
- understanding of health and safety rules in a restaurant
- knowledge about plating and presentation
- strong organization and attention to detail
- multi-tasking skills
Job Duties
- assisting servers and delivering food in assigned section(s)
- maintaining a clean work station and dining area
- clearing dining tables and ensuring dishes are taken to dish washing area of the kitchen
- ensuring quality with proper presentation and accuracy of food orders
- table maintenance to include water refills, removal and replacement of plate ware, silverware and glassware as guest completes each dish
