As the largest operator in this specialized sector, Signature Aviation is dedicated to providing safe, convenient, and elevated experiences to its diverse clientele, who seek privacy, luxury, and outstanding service when they travel by private aircraft. As a premier hospitality organization and a certified Great Place to Work, Signature Aviation places a strong emphasis on employee well-being, professional development, and community engagement. Their nearly 6,000-strong team of aviation experts and enthusiasts upholds a commitment to redefining private air travel through excellence and innovation. The company supports its team members through a comprehensive range of benefits, programs, and resources designed to enhance overall well-being and career growth. Signature Aviation also places great importance on giving back to the communities it serves by empowering the next generation of aviation professionals and supporting veterans.
The role of an Airside Experience Specialist at Signature Aviation is vital to sustaining the company's reputation for excellence in private aviation hospitality. This position acts as the face of the private aviation terminal, delivering a seamless, personalized, and welcoming experience for every guest, crew member, and aircraft cared for at the facility. It is a dynamic role that uniquely blends exceptional hospitality skills with practical operational duties. The specialist is responsible not only for greeting and assisting guests with warmth and professionalism but also performing hands-on operational support to ensure every part of the guest journey, from wheels down to wheels up, is smooth and enjoyable.
This role requires operating ground service equipment such as fuel trucks, de-icing trucks, tugs, and stair trucks, as well as providing critical ground services including fueling, de-icing, lavatory servicing, ground power, potable water supplies, parking, marshalling, wing walking, catering delivery, and towing. A safety-first mindset is essential to recognize and report hazards proactively while complying with all operational policies, safety standards, emission protocols, and airport security regulations. Flexibility is key since the position requires working in outdoor settings around active aircrafts, often under varying weather conditions, and maintaining schedule adaptability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
The Airside Experience Specialist is tasked with maintaining a high level of professionalism, courtesy, and guest-centered service at all times. Beyond operational responsibilities, this role requires excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate closely with team members, clients, guests, vendors, and aircraft crewmembers, ensuring all service needs are met with precision and care. The role involves continuous communication, accurate recordkeeping of activities and time worked, adherence to emergency procedures, and an unwavering commitment to uphold the integrity and reputation of Signature Aviation. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, luxury-driven hospitality environment, enjoy working on the energy-filled runway, and take pride in creating memorable experiences for discerning private aviation customers.
