The company's nearly 6,000-strong team of aviation professionals and enthusiasts uphold a culture of excellence, focusing on caring for their guests and their communities while fostering an environment where their team members thrive. Signature Aviation offers robust benefits, programs, and resources dedicated to supporting the overall well-being and professional growth of their employees. The organization is also deeply involved in volunteer efforts, aiming to uplift the neighborhoods they serve, empower future aviation professionals, and support veterans.
As an Airside Experience Specialist at Signature Aviation, you become the face of the private aviation terminal, providing seamless, personalized, and welcoming experiences for every guest, crew member, and aircraft in the company’s care. This dynamic role blends exceptional hospitality with hands-on operational support, ensuring that guests feel fully cared for from wheels down to wheels up. The specialist will operate ground service equipment and perform essential aircraft ground services while maintaining a professional demeanor and a service-first mindset. Flexibility is crucial, as the position requires working nights, weekends, and holidays, along with thriving in outdoor work environments that present varying weather conditions around active aircraft.
The role demands strong collaboration with team members, guests, clients, vendors, and aircraft crew to deliver comprehensive services such as fueling, de-icing, lavatory servicing, ground power, potable water replenishment, parking assistance, marshalling, wing walking, catering delivery, and towing. Airside Experience Specialists proactively prepare for incoming and departing aircraft, identify open tasks, and report any safety concerns immediately. They are responsible for operating and driving ground service equipment like fuel trucks, de-icing trucks, ground power units, tugs, and stair trucks, as well as loading and unloading luggage and cargo.
Above all, the specialist must exhibit outstanding guest service and a positive attitude, ensuring all interactions result in exceptional experiences. Responsibilities extend to safe, convenient, and courteous shuttle vehicle operation for transporting guests, luggage, and cargo, and maintaining clean, secure ramp operations. Fuel handling duties include quality control, fuel receipt, inventory management, and maintaining accurate documentation. The Airside Experience Specialist must understand and enforce all operational, safety, and guest service protocols, including physical, cyber, and data security protocols applicable to Signature Aviation and the airport.
Safety is paramount in this role, which requires the ability to stop work immediately when unsafe conditions or acts are observed and to cooperate fully with management in resolving safety issues. Specialists are also expected to follow emergency response procedures during critical events, keep precise records of work performed, and complete Signature Aviation's training programs successfully. The starting pay for this position is $23.50 per hour, and compensation varies based on factors like skill sets, education, shift, seniority, market, productivity, and prior experience.
This position is ideal for individuals passionate about creating memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced, luxury-driven environment who enjoy the energy and challenges of working on the runway. It offers significant development opportunities within a supportive, globally recognized company dedicated to both guest satisfaction and employee well-being.
