The role of Airside Experience Associate at Signature Aviation is vital in ensuring the smooth, safe, and guest-focused functioning of private aviation operations. This hands-on position is involved in a variety of tasks centered around baggage, cargo, and freight handling, as well as monitoring and securing airport access points. Employees in this role contribute to providing a seamless and exceptional ground experience for guests and flight crews. The Airside Experience Associate supports operational details such as connecting ground power units, chocking aircraft, wing walking, and managing jetway or stair positioning to aircraft. The job demands flexibility with shifts available from 4:00 am to 8:00 am daily, requiring a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Working conditions entail performing duties in both indoor and outdoor environments near active aircraft and ground equipment, often in varying weather conditions. The position requires vigilance to maintain safety and cleanliness on ramps and throughout operational areas. An essential aspect of the job is the responsibility to stop work immediately if unsafe conditions or acts that threaten people, the environment, or company assets are observed. Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 18 years of age
Must pass company background and motor vehicle checks
Must pass drug tests
Must meet airport background check requirements for security badge
Must be legally authorized to work in the jurisdiction of employment
Must possess a valid state driver’s license
Must be able to exercise good judgment and follow directions from supervisors
Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends, holidays, and nights
Ability to perform physical tasks in indoor and outdoor environments
Must be able to operate ground service equipment safely
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Minimum of 18 years of age
Ability to pass company background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug tests, meet airport background check requirements to receive and maintain an airport security badge, and be insurable by the Company’s applicable insurance policies
Must be legally authorized to work in the jurisdiction of employment
Must possess a valid state driver’s license
Must be able to exercise good judgment and follow directions from supervisor/management
Excellent guest service skills with an energetic, outgoing, and guest-obsessed personality
Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals in English

Job Duties

Responsible for loading and unloading baggage, freight, and cargo and for properly transferring packages between planes or other modes of transportation
Operate and drive ground service equipment such as tugs, trucks, conveyors, and other freight handling equipment
Conduct identification checks for flight crews, passengers, visitors and vendors entering the terminal and/or the Airport Operations Area (AOA) in accordance with the Company’s security procedures
Monitor facilities to include street side, parking lots, terminal, hangars and AOA
Assist Airside Experience Specialists to ensure our guests receive an exceptional experience including connecting ground power units and providing potable water services, wing walking, chocking and positioning stairs/jetway to aircraft
Stop work when an unsafe condition or act is likely to cause harm to people, the environment, Company or guest assets, or the Company’s reputation if the work continues and report concerns to the appropriate manager
Maintain safe, clean and secure ramps and operations
Create accurate records pertaining to time worked and activities and services performed
