The Airport Supervisor role at Dayton International Airport in Ohio is a full-time position with a competitive annual salary range of $50,000 to $55,000. This role reports directly to the General Manager and involves critical responsibilities to support the smooth operation of the station. The supervisor plays an integral part in managing day-to-day operations, financial performance, team leadership, and customer service delivery. Job Duties

  • Responsible for day-to-day operational and financial performance of assigned station
  • Ensures compliance with safety requirements including security checkpoint and GSC responsibilities
  • Sets a positive example for station team to ensure excellent customer service
  • Maintains a positive work environment, strong employee relations, and collaborative relationships
  • Solicits customer feedback to improve travel experience
  • Demonstrates calm demeanor during high volume or irregular operations
  • Provides coaching and direction to the station team
  • Manages station budget, staffing forecasts, and resource requirements
  • Maintains station facilities, equipment, and professional appearance standards
  • Ensures compliance with station controls and internal audit standards
  • Maintains strong working relationships with airport authorities, vendors, and governmental agencies
  • Manages vendor service contracts as required
  • Provides remote support for other UGE functions as needed
  • Works beyond scheduled times as necessary due to irregular operations or business need
