The Shuttle Driver position at ABM plays a vital role in the transportation of passengers safely and efficiently between designated locations that can vary depending on the contractual needs. These locations include airports, commercial buildings, hospitals, sports arenas, entertainment venues, educational facilities, or warehouses. The role primarily involves operating shuttles with care and professionalism, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for all passengers, including those with special needs requiring equipment such as wheelchair lifts and tie-downs. Employment with ABM as a Shuttle Driver is offered on an hourly pay basis, starting at $25.00 per hour. Post-training pay increases to $27.00 per hour upon successful completion of a 4 to 5-week training and qualification program. After six months of service, the pay rate further increases to $32.06 per hour. Candidates must have flexible availability and be open to working any shift or schedule required, with the understanding that shift assignments may change based on operational needs and shift bidding processes. Responsibilities encompass loading and unloading passengers and their luggage, conducting regular vehicle inspections and routine cleaning, and maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to all safety and Department of Transportation standards. Excellent customer service skills are essential as drivers frequently interact with passengers, addressing inquiries, and guiding guests as needed.

This role requires a valid CDL Class B license with Air Brakes Certification and Passenger Endorsement, a valid medical card, and a minimum of one year of driving experience. The candidate must be at least 21 years of age. Maintaining shuttle cleanliness and reporting any operational incidents to management is critical.
