Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • possess a valid Medical Card with an expiration date no sooner than 90 days from the date of application
  • hold a valid CDL Class B with Air Brakes Certification and Passenger Endorsement
  • ensure the CDL has an expiration date no sooner than six months from the date of application
  • demonstrate a minimum of one year of driving experience

  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to operate specialized equipment for passengers with special needs

Job Duties

  • Transport, load and unload passengers, providing daily transportation services at designated pick-up and drop-off locations
  • ensure safe loading and unloading of passengers including those with special needs using specialized equipment
  • assist passengers with luggage as needed
  • inspect vehicles regularly for unsafe conditions or maintenance issues and perform routine cleaning and maintenance
  • meet patrons requiring assistance to and from various airport locations and lots
  • inspect shuttles for damage and record information using electronic devices or manual tickets
  • provide excellent customer service by responding to guest inquiries courteously and giving directions
  • maintain and enforce bus evacuation plans and coordinate evacuation activities
  • immediately report any incidents or claims to operations manager or shift lead
  • refuel and maintain shuttle equipment and fuel use logs
  • maintain a clean work environment by disinfecting shuttle after each use
  • perform pre-inspection and post-inspection activities to ensure proper operation, adherence to Department of Transportation standards, and safety compliance
