The Shuttle Driver role with ABM is an excellent opportunity for individuals entering or re-entering the workforce, offering a clear progression path and competitive pay, starting at $25.00 per hour with increases post-training and after six months of service. This role requires the driver to transport passengers safely and efficiently to and from various locations such as airports, commercial buildings, hospitals, sports arenas, entertainment venues, educational facilities, and warehouses. Flexibility in scheduling is essential as shift assignments may change frequently based on operational needs. The position mandates a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with specific certifications, a medical card, and a minimum of one year driving experience. Training typically lasts 4 to 5 weeks, after which drivers receive increased pay. - hold a valid CDL Class B with Air Brakes Certification and Passenger Endorsement
- ensure the CDL has an expiration date no sooner than six months from the date of application

Job Duties
- Transport, load and unload passengers, providing daily transportation services at designated pick-up and drop-off locations
- ensure safe loading and unloading of passengers including those with special needs using specialized equipment
- assist passengers with luggage as needed
- inspect vehicles regularly for unsafe conditions or maintenance issues and perform routine cleaning and maintenance
- meet patrons requiring assistance to and from various airport locations and lots
- inspect shuttles for damage and record information using electronic devices or manual tickets
- provide excellent customer service by responding to guest inquiries courteously and giving directions
- maintain and enforce bus evacuation plans and coordinate evacuation activities
- immediately report any incidents or claims to operations manager or shift lead
- refuel and maintain shuttle equipment and fuel use logs
- maintain a clean work environment by disinfecting shuttle after each use
- perform pre-inspection and post-inspection activities to ensure proper operation, adherence to Department of Transportation standards, and safety compliance
