The role of Site Supervisor at Oshkosh AeroTech is a vital leadership position focused on maintaining operational excellence at the assigned airport location. This full-time position carries a competitive salary range of up to $78,000 and offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment, emphasizing the company's dedication to attracting top talent. As a Site Supervisor, the individual will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of maintenance activities and operational procedures, ensuring efficient service delivery, safety compliance, and high quality standards. Key responsibilities include managing and coordinating technicians and maintenance personnel, overseeing scheduling and work orders, handling customer service requirements, and providing a direct point of contact for both customers and vendors on-site. The role requires a strong focus on people leadership, including hiring and firing decisions, coaching, performance management, disciplinary actions, and fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of supervisory or lead experience preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in airport maintenance services or 24/7 operational environment preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and CMMS preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead scheduling, work orders, safety, productivity, and material coordination
  • Coordinate customer service requirements with onsite maintenance personnel to ensure service level commitments are met
  • Implement work order schedules that maximize technician utilization and effective use of resources
  • Oversee scheduling of technicians and ensure accurate and timely entry of all required information into the CMMS system
  • Answer phones, enter work orders into the CMMS, and serve as the first point of contact for customers and vendors
  • Run operational and CMMS reports
  • analyze data and provide recommendations to improve efficiency, productivity, and service delivery
  • Support Site Manager in monitoring, evaluating, and improving operational performance
  • Develop, implement, and maintain processes, procedures, and documentation to enhance operational efficiency and consistency
  • Monitor airport systems, coordinate customer service requests, schedule technicians, and manage critical data entry within the CMMS
  • Interview candidates and partner with site manager and HR to make hiring decisions
  • Lead performance management activities including setting expectations, conducting discussions, coaching, counseling, and delivering corrective and disciplinary actions up to termination
  • Support employee relations and investigations and provide recommendations on outcomes
  • Provide direct support, guidance, and on-the-job training to team members
  • Foster strong working relationships to enhance employee morale, teamwork, and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information
  • Lead shift handovers, daily briefings, and team communications
  • Promote and model a strong culture of safety through new employee safety orientation and ongoing training
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Ensure compliance with company safety programs, training, and airport regulatory standards
  • Participate in audits, inspections, training sessions, airport tours, and required meetings
  • Maintain productive work environment in a diverse and multicultural setting
