The role of Airport Services Concierge at JSX is a part-time, seasonal position designed for individuals who are dedicated, motivated, and customer-centric, with the active season currently underway and expected to continue through November 2026. This seasonal employment opportunity offers dynamic responsibilities that ensure no two days are alike. The Airport Services Concierge serves as a crucial frontline representative of JSX, warmly welcoming customers upon arrival and managing a broad spectrum of tasks essential to providing a smooth and stress-free travel experience. Duties include guiding customers through check-in, security, and boarding processes, maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of the lounge, and rotating through various operational roles to keep the workday engaging and diverse.

This role demands punctuality, professionalism, and a passion for service excellence. Depending on the shift, the Concierge may act as a check-in agent, boarding agent, support for security screening, or ground security coordinator. Additional responsibilities include ensuring the lounge is well-stocked and inviting, assisting with valet services by parking and retrieving vehicles politely, and maintaining effective communication between the ground team and flight crew. Job Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship
  • Successful completion of federal background checks and eligibility screenings
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to occasionally lift 75 plus pounds
  • Ability to perform intermittent physical activity including bending, reaching, and prolonged standing
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, late nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Current and valid driver's license
  • Willingness to undergo initial and random drug and alcohol screenings as per DOT and FAA regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 plus years of customer service experience preferred
  • Aviation experience preferred
  • Current and valid driver's license required
  • Proactive problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Greet customers and assist with check-in including verifying IDs and printing boarding passes
  • Lead boarding process making announcements and verifying identification
  • Operate security screening equipment and inspect flagged baggage for compliance
  • Serve as communication link between ground team and flight crew, assist with deplaning announcements and restock onboard amenities
  • Maintain lounge cleanliness and stock between flights
  • Handle valet duties including parking and retrieving customer vehicles when scheduled
  • Manage flexible shift responsibilities with professionalism and punctuality
