The role of Airport Services Concierge (ASC) at JSX is centered around being one of the first faces customers encounter upon arrival at the station, carrying the responsibility to ensure an effortless check-in and overall exceptional service experience. This full-time position offers a starting salary of $19.25 per hour and requires individuals who have both a strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. The ASC is responsible for verifying all travel documents, screening baggage, and ensuring that customers are fit to fly, which makes adherence to security and safety regulations crucial. Moreover, the position might involve valet duties, including the driving, parking, and retrieval of customer vehicles, as well as assisting passengers during arrivals and departures.

This job demands a high level of professionalism, readiness, and the ability to manage diverse and challenging situations with calm and urgency. The ASC must be aware of their operational environment to maintain safety awareness and compliance with airport and federal regulations. They are also trained in ground security coordination and actively participate in monitoring and enforcing security protocols. The role involves physical activity such as standing for extended periods, bending, and occasionally lifting weights over 75 pounds. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, nights, holidays, and weekends, is essential.

Job Requirements

  • In compliance with federal aviation security requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens or U.S. nationals
  • Must be able to travel often
  • Able to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Intermittent physical activity including bending, reaching, lifting, climbing stairs and prolonged periods of standing in addition to walking long distances
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Participate in initial and random drug and alcohol screenings in accordance with DOT and FAA guidelines
  • Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors for an extended amount of time during cold, wet or hot conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years customer service experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Professional and level-headed under stress
  • Vigilant and safety-aware
  • Strong verbal and visual communication skills
  • Computer savvy including knowledge of Google Business and Microsoft Office

Job Duties

  • Provide customers with seamless check-in service
