The role of an Airport Services Concierge at JSX is pivotal in delivering the company’s promise of a seamless and stress-free travel experience. As the friendly and approachable face greeting customers upon arrival, this role involves guiding guests through various stages of their journey, including check-in, security screening, and boarding, ensuring that each step is handled with professionalism and care. The Airport Services Concierge also plays a key role in maintaining the ambiance and readiness of the airport lounge, keeping it clean, welcoming, and well-stocked to enhance customer satisfaction. This position is dynamic, with expectations to rotate through multiple responsibilities such as check-in agent, boarding agent, security screening support, and ground security coordinator, making each workday unique and engaging.

Beyond direct customer interaction, the Airport Services Concierge is entrusted with safety and security duties critical to airport operations. All crewmembers in this role are certified Ground Security Coordinators and are trained in customer and baggage security screening procedures. They are responsible for monitoring the operational environment, reporting safety risks, ensuring compliance with policy and regulatory updates, and maintaining readiness for safety-sensitive duties. This includes participation in required drug and alcohol screenings as per Department of Transportation and Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.

Candidates for this role should have a high school diploma or GED and be physically capable of performing intermittent physical activities such as bending, reaching, and standing for prolonged periods. The role demands flexibility in scheduling, including availability for early mornings, late nights, holidays, and weekends. While experience in aviation or customer service is preferred, it is not mandatory, as JSX values the passion, approachability, and proactive attitude of its team members just as much as formal qualifications.

Job Duties

  • greet customers and assist with check-in
