The Airport Manager role at Midwestern Wheels involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Austin Straubel Airport car rental location. This key leadership position works closely with the District Manager to ensure all aspects of the rental operations run smoothly and profitably. The Airport Manager is responsible for supervising, developing, and motivating staff, managing fleet operations, and driving revenue growth by ensuring a superior customer experience. This role requires flexibility, as the work schedule includes shifts that vary between 7:00 a.m. and midnight, seven days a week. The manager ensures compliance with company standards, policies, and quality assurance programs to maintain vehicle quality and optimize operational efficiency. Other vital responsibilities include preparing staffing schedules, handling customer complaints promptly, monitoring staff performance, and building strong business relationships to facilitate profitability and growth. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $65,000 to $75,000 annually, including base salary and bonus incentives.   • At least 3 years of leadership, coaching, or team oversight experience
  • Strong leadership skills with proven record of building, coaching, and motivating a team
  • Skill in coaching and influencing sales professionals to achieve performance goals through data-driven insights and field leadership

  • Establish, communicate, monitor, and update staff objectives
  • Prepare staffing schedules based on business demands
  • Support quality assurance program to ensure vehicle quality
  • Handle customer complaints and feedback effectively and promptly
  • Maintain communication with leadership and staff to ensure optimal service operations
  • Maintain vehicle control according to company guidelines
  • Build and maintain business relationships to facilitate profitability
