Job Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
0 to 1 year related experience
Must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol based on local regulations if applicable
Ability to walk or stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally 50 pounds
Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks
Punctuality and reliable attendance
Ability to handle food safely and hygienically
Authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Greet and seat guests, present menus, and introduce specials or menu changes
Provide knowledgeable recommendations on meals, beverages, and wine, and answer questions about menu items, allergens, and preparation
Accurately take and relay orders to the kitchen, confirm orders with guests, and process them in the correct sequence
Check all items for quality and completeness, ensuring that presentations are attractive, appetizing, and consistent
Monitor guest needs, respond to requests, and address concerns or complaints with professionalism
Perform significant walking or other means of mobility as required
Maintain ability to walk or stand for extended periods, throughout shifts which may exceed 8 hours
Reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds
Use hands to finger, handle, feel or reach with hands and arms
Taste and smell food items to ensure quality
Perform repetitive motions related to wait staff duties
Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
Perform other duties as assigned, differing among accounts depending on business necessities and client requirements
