This job opportunity for an Airport Lounge Wait Staff position is based at Airport Dimensions - Sapphire Lounge by The Club. The role is full-time with a competitive hourly wage of $19.50. The position offers flexibility in shifts with an expectation of open availability, and further scheduling details are provided during the interview process.

As an Airport Lounge Wait Staff member at Sodexo, you will play a crucial role in elevating the customer experience by providing efficient, attentive service in the sophisticated environment of an airport lounge. Your responsibilities will include greeting and seating guests, presenting menus, and informing customers about specials or menu changes. You'll serve a variety of freshly prepared entrées, appetizers, desserts, and beverages from Sodexo's curated restaurant menu, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and well cared for.

This position demands professionalism and a friendly demeanor, combined with a thorough knowledge of the menu offerings including meals, beverages, and wines. You will be expected to answer questions about menu items, allergen information, and preparation methods accurately. Taking orders with precision, relaying them effectively to the kitchen, and ensuring orders are served in the correct sequence are essential duties to maintain smooth operations.

Quality control is vital to this role. You'll be responsible for verifying that all items delivered to guests meet the highest standards of quality, presentation, and consistency. Meeting guest needs promptly, addressing any requests, and handling concerns or complaints courteously will be day-to-day expectations to uphold Sodexo's commitment to customer satisfaction.

Physical stamina is important as the job requires significant walking or other means of mobility, the ability to stand or walk for up to or more than 8-hour shifts, and the capability to lift and move weighty items up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Fine motor skills, sensory abilities such as tasting and smelling, and the ability to perform repetitive motions are necessary to perform duties efficiently and safely.
