At Sodexo, the emphasis on culture and belonging ensures that every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to be themselves. The company promotes fairness, inclusivity, and equal employment opportunities regardless of race, gender, age, disability, or other protected characteristics. This commitment underscores Sodexo’s purpose: to create a better everyday for everyone.

Within this vibrant and supportive environment, Sodexo is presently seeking part-time Airport Lounge Wait Staff to join the team at the United Club located at Minneapolis-Saint Paul (MSP) International Airport. The role is designed for friendly, attentive, and customer-focused individuals who thrive on delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced and dynamic airport lounge setting. The position offers a competitive pay rate of $16.50 per hour and typically involves afternoon and evening shifts on varying days, with exact schedules discussed during the interview process.

As an Airport Lounge Wait Staff member, you will be the face of Sodexo’s hospitality within the premium environment of the United Club. This role entails welcoming guests, presenting menus, and offering expert recommendations to enhance the dining experience. The role demands excellent communication skills to accurately take and relay orders, respond to guest inquiries about menu items or allergens, and address any concerns promptly and professionally.

Working in this position requires significant mobility, including walking and standing for extended durations, often beyond eight hours per shift. Physical demands also include lifting, bending, and other movements necessary to maintain high service standards. The ability to work well within a team, while also showing initiative and responsibility, is critical for success. You will be expected to comply with local and state alcohol service laws and potentially hold relevant certifications such as TIPS or TEAM, reflecting Sodexo’s commitment to responsible service.

Sodexo emphasizes career growth and personal development, providing ongoing training and advancement opportunities to help employees transform their roles into fulfilling careers. The company also offers a comprehensive benefits package tailored to support employees and their families, including paid time off, holidays, health benefits, tuition reimbursement, and retirement plans, among others. Additional perks may include shift meals, uniforms, transportation support, and more, depending on the work location.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals seeking a part-time hospitality role with a reputable global company that values diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being.
