As an Airport Lounge Wait Staff member at Sodexo, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customers receive attentive, efficient, and friendly service that exceeds expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-oriented setting where you will serve a variety of made-fresh-to-order entrées, appetizers, desserts, and beverages from Sodexo's restaurant menu. Attention to detail and professionalism are essential as you greet and seat guests, provide knowledgeable menu recommendations including meal options, beverages, and wine, take and relay orders accurately to the kitchen, and ensure the presentation of food is appealing and consistent. You will also be responsible for monitoring guest needs throughout their visit, responding promptly to requests, and addressing any concerns or complaints with a courteous and solution-focused approach.

This is a part-time position with a pay rate of $21.50 per hour. The role requires flexible availability as shifts may vary, and more details about scheduling will be provided during the interview process. Physically, the job demands extended periods of walking or standing, sometimes exceeding eight hours, and the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. The role also involves repetitive motions, reaching, bending, and the use of hands and arms for various tasks related to serving guests.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 1 year related experience
  • minimum age to serve alcohol as per local regulations, if applicable
  • valid TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service certification, if required
  • ability to perform physical tasks including walking, standing, lifting, bending, stooping
  • ability to work flexible shifts
  • strong attendance and punctuality
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • willingness to comply with client requirements and business needs

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests
