The role of Airport Lounge Food & Beverage Supervisor at SodexoMagic is a full-time position located at the American Express Lounge - ATL. This role is designed for individuals who excel at multitasking and who have a passion for enhancing the quality of life for others through exceptional service management. The position requires oversight and coordination of routine food service activities including fast casual dining, coffee and counter service, cafeterias, banquets, casual dining, and cafes within the lounge environment. The selected candidate will report to on-site management and be responsible for supervising the work of service employees engaged in food operations, ensuring that daily tasks are carried out efficiently and to the highest standards.

Working shifts that vary, including days, hours, and rotating weekends, the supervisor plays a pivotal role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for both employees and customers. Key responsibilities involve supporting management in overseeing daily operations, facilitating employee orientation and training, ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing quality and service concerns, and fostering a safe workplace. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in food and beverage operations or related field
  • Ability to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain a safe work environment
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
  • Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees
  • Facilitate orientation and training of employees
  • Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned, varying among accounts depending on business necessities and client requirements
