The role of Airport Lounge Dishwasher at Sodexo is a vital position within the team supporting kitchen and facility operations at the AIRPORT DIMENSIONS-SAPPHIRE LOUNGE BY THE CLUB. This full-time role, offering pay at $20 per hour, involves maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in various food production and service areas. The dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, utensils, floors, walls, storage spaces, and assisting with set-up and breakdown tasks as needed. Duties include washing dishes either by hand or using dishwashing machines, cleaning and sanitizing worktables, refrigerators, and meat blocks, and managing waste by removing trash and garbage to designated areas. This role also requires restocking supplies like soap and paper towels and adhering to sanitation standards using specified chemicals.

Physical stamina is essential as this role involves significant walking or mobility and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods, sometimes exceeding 8 hours per shift. The job also demands physical capabilities such as bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting objects up to 35 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • No related work experience required
  • Knowledge of sanitation procedures
  • Ability to walk or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push, pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds, occasionally lift or move 50 pounds
  • Significant walking or other means of mobility
