  • 0 to 2 years related work experience
  • Knowledge of basic equipment operation and food-handling procedures preferred
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Good knowledge of food preparation
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment
  • Ability to read and follow recipes independently

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0 to 2 years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment operation
  • Familiarity with food-handling procedures
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Good working knowledge of food preparation
  • Ability to read and follow a recipe unsupervised

Job Duties

  • Prepare food in accordance with federal, state and corporate standards
  • Follow recipes for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting and serving food
  • Taste products and read menus to estimate food requirements and check production
  • Keep records to plan production and requisition supplies and equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Walk or stand for extended periods throughout shifts
  • Lift up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally move 50 pounds
  • Perform repetitive motions
  • Attend work punctually and regularly
  • Other duties as assigned based on client needs
