Sodexo's Airline Lounge Segment is proud to present an exceptional career opportunity for a dedicated Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager to join the elite team operating the Alaska Airlines Lounge at Harvey Milk International Airport in San Francisco, CA. As a flagship location, the Alaska Airlines Lounge offers a thoughtfully designed travel oasis where guests can relax and enjoy an elevated dining experience. The role of the Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager is crucial to operational success and guest satisfaction, serving as a hands-on culinary leader overseeing all facets of food production, quality control, inventory management, and staff development. The ideal candidate will bring an eclectic culinary knowledge with upscale experience, coupled with a strong background in high-volume catering and event execution. This position requires comprehensive skills in menu compliance, purchasing, food cost analysis, forecasting, and adherence to Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and exceptional food quality. Additionally, maintaining impeccable food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards is a top priority aligned with TSA regulations and airport security requirements.
This is a full-time hourly role offering excellent quality of life benefits such as immediate access to medical, dental, and vision care, wellness programs, and three weeks of paid vacation starting from day one. Candidates must be able to successfully pass a TSA background check and obtain an airport badge to comply with airport security protocols.
