We are excited to offer an exceptional career opportunity for a skilled Kitchen Manager / Executive Chef to join our elite team managing The Club ATL at Hartsfield Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, GA. This role is tailored for a passionate culinary professional with a background in upscale food production and a dedication to delivering high-level dining experiences within a sophisticated travel oasis. As a hands-on chef, the ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in diverse menu development, with catering and banquet experience considered a strong advantage. This position requires managing purchasing, inventory, food cost analysis, forecasting, and ensuring adherence to Sodexo’s culinary standards. Additionally, the Kitchen Manager / Executive Chef will foster innovation, motivate team members, and uphold the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety.

Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years of kitchen manager or chef level experience in a recognized concept or company
  • ability to work all shifts including nights and weekends
  • experience in safety and sanitation, health department inspections
  • excellent leadership and communication skills
  • strong coaching and employee development skills
  • passion for food and innovation

Job Qualifications

  • associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years management experience
  • minimum 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts
  • excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest culinary standards
  • strong coaching and employee development skills
  • passion for food and innovation

Job Duties

  • be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting
  • ensure Sodexo culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
  • have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
  • ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance
  • have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems
