The General Manager position for the United Club Lounge at Minneapolis-Saint Paul (MSP) International Airport represents an exciting career opportunity to lead a highly skilled team responsible for curating a sophisticated, upscale lounge experience. The role demands a hands-on leader with a proven background in managing upscale food production and an eclectic menu portfolio featuring a la carte offerings. This position holds accountability for daily food operations, ensuring high standards of culinary quality, service excellence, and operational safety compliance. The General Manager is also responsible for achieving financial targets including profit and loss management, inventory control, and fiscal accountability for this standalone business unit.

As the face of Sodexo in the lounge, the General Manager will develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, customers, and stakeholders, fostering trust and loyalty through superior service delivery. They will lead, mentor, and motivate hourly frontline staff to uphold Sodexo’s standards and inspire a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork. The role involves strategic planning and execution aligned with company goals, including managing multiple competing priorities with professional communications and customer service acumen. Job Qualifications

  • associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years management experience
  • 2-3 years experience at operations manager or assistant general manager level with a recognized concept or company

  • working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems
  • knowledge of financial preparation and oversight

Job Duties
