Job Description

Currently, Sodexo is seeking a General Manager to lead the operations at the United Club Lounge located at MSP International Airport in Minneapolis, MN. This is a key leadership role within an elite team responsible for curating a culinary-driven, upscale lounge experience. The role demands a manager with a deep understanding of eclectic and upscale a la carte menu offerings who can oversee food production with a hands-on approach. The successful candidate will be entrusted with daily oversight of food operations, ensuring every dish served meets high standards of quality and presentation. They will manage financial targets in alignment with company and client goals while fostering strong relationships with clients and customers alike.

The General Manager will also play a critical role in staff development, motivating, coaching, mentoring, and cultivating frontline hourly staff to deliver exceptional service. Remaining compliant with Sodexo’s strict standards, including food safety and physical safety protocols, is essential for this position. Additionally, the role requires full familiarity with profit and loss management, inventory control, and the fiscal responsibilities of running a standalone business unit. Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years management experience
  • 2 years experience at operations manager or assistant general manager level with a recognized concept or company
  • ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization
