The role of General Manager for the Qantas Airlines Lounges at LAX, CA, represents an exciting opportunity to join Sodexo’s elite team of professionals. This position calls for a highly skilled manager who will oversee the operations of the premier lounge, ensuring a culinary-driven, upscale experience that caters to discerning travelers. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in managing upscale food production and possess in-depth knowledge of eclectic and a la carte menu offerings. The General Manager position is hands-on, requiring active engagement in daily food operations and leadership duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and service, ensuring that every guest enjoys a refined and memorable visit to the lounge.

Beyond operational responsibilities, the General Manager is tasked with achieving company financial targets and goals while closely managing profit and loss, inventory, and fiscal accountability, operating the lounge as a stand-alone business. The role also demands fostering strong client and customer relationships, motivating and developing frontline staff through coaching and mentoring, and ensuring full compliance with Sodexo’s rigorous food safety and physical safety protocols.
