The Executive Chef role at Sodexo's Airline Lounge Segment is an exceptional opportunity to lead culinary operations at the Alaska Airlines Lounges located in Seattle, WA at SeaTac International Airport. This role is designed for a seasoned culinary professional with experience managing upscale, high volume food production in environments such as hotels or restaurants. The Executive Chef will be responsible for creating and delivering a sophisticated culinary-driven experience tailored to discerning travelers within a beautifully designed travel oasis. This hands-on position requires not only expertise in upscale menu development but also the ability to efficiently manage food production, purchasing, inventory, and food cost analysis.

As the Executive Chef, you will ensure strict adherence to Sodexo’s culinary standards, focusing on recipe compliance and exceptional food quality. You will also lead the development of the culinary team, inspiring innovation and maintaining motivation to uphold the highest standards in food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety. Experience with automated inventory, ordering, and production systems is highly valuable to succeed in optimizing kitchen operations and forecasting food production demands accurately.   • 3 years of work experience in food or culinary services

Job Duties

  • be responsible for purchasing and menu compliance
  • manage inventory, food cost analysis, and food production forecasting
  • ensure implementation of Sodexo culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality
  • develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
  • ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
  • utilize working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems
  • maintain high volume scratch kitchen operations
