The role on offer is for an Airline Lounge Manager for the Premium Tier One Flagship Lounge located at Sydney International Airport. This full-time position is based in Mascot and offers a competitive salary of $100,000 plus 12% superannuation. The role demands leadership of daily operations for the Executive Business Class Lounge, setting a benchmark in premium guest experiences. The manager will drive hospitality excellence, overseeing food and beverage, catering, and concierge services to ensure a personalized and memorable visit for all guests.

This position primarily operates Monday to Friday, with occasional nights and weekends, reflecting the high-volume nature of the lounge service. The successful candidate will be a visible, hands-on leader, inspiring the team to maintain a consistent 5-star service standard across every guest touch point. Key responsibilities include managing cost controls and stock systems to maintain top-notch offerings, delivering monthly financial and budget reports, and implementing strategies to streamline operations without compromising on quality.

  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong leadership with team building capabilities
  • understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (Level 3 preferred)
  • hospitality or business qualifications
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational resource management

  • Hospitality or Business qualifications well regarded
  • proven experience leading food and beverage or catering teams in a premium setting
  • strong leadership skills with a track record of building motivated, high-performing teams
