Lockheed Martin is a leading global aerospace, defense, security, and advanced technology company dedicated to innovation and integrity. Renowned for its commitment to excellence, Lockheed Martin develops cutting-edge mission solutions for the most complex challenges faced by its customers worldwide. The company operates across multiple domains including aerospace, outer space, cyberspace, and more, collaborating with partners globally to deliver outstanding performance and technology-driven solutions. The culture at Lockheed Martin is founded on values like excellence, integrity, collaboration, and inclusivity, offering employees a supportive environment where diverse perspectives are valued and encouraged.
Lockheed Martin offers a full-time, onsite position located in Stratford, Connecticut within the RMS business unit. This role supports the Aerostructures Product Center team involved with the operations and logistics of manufacturing UH/HH-60 helicopters. The position features a 4x10 hour work schedule, providing employees with three days off weekly alongside comprehensive paid time-off benefits. The company emphasizes career growth, skill development, and wellbeing by offering competitive pay, flexible schedules, 401(k) plans, insurance benefits, and extensive learning opportunities.
The role of Sr. Staff Level Integrated Program Planner is a career-advancing opportunity within the aerospace industry, focused on the intricate planning and schedule management of helicopter manufacturing programs. The planner collaborates in cross-functional teams involving program management, finance, customers, control account managers, and various functional leads to ensure seamless program scheduling, status reporting, and baseline management. Responsibilities include developing, analyzing, and maintaining Integrated Master Plans (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), performing critical path analyses, coordinating schedule data with suppliers, and contributing to proposal planning and cost integration. The position also involves mentoring and guiding other planning team members while ensuring compliance with industry standards such as those of the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and compliance with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) requirements.
Ideal candidates bring extensive program performance management expertise, schedule metrics reporting abilities, and experience with aircraft scheduling, preferably UH/HH-60 programs. Familiarity with scheduling tools like Open Plan, PM Compass, Acumen, and Viper, as well as proficiency in advanced Excel functions and SAP work order management, are crucial. The role also demands strong communication and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and competence in risk and opportunity management. Candidates will prepare and present professional briefings to leadership and customers, ensuring transparent and accurate program status updates.
Lockheed Martin values employees who can thrive in fast-paced environments, tackle complex challenges with resourcefulness and courage, and contribute meaningfully to impactful, high-stakes missions that can change the world and save lives. This role presents the chance to grow professionally within a world-class company passionate about aerospace innovation and defense technology, driven to create products that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
