Job Description
Located in Snohomish, Washington, Harvey Field Aviation is a well-established flight training and aircraft rental facility that also offers scenic flights and charter operations. We are committed to providing exceptional aviation services in a friendly and professional atmosphere. As an integral part of the regional aviation community, Harvey Field Aviation emphasizes safety, customer satisfaction, and the promotion of aviation education and experience. Our team is composed of passionate aviation professionals who are dedicated to serving pilots, students, and aviation enthusiasts alike. We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards of operational excellence and creating a welcoming environment for all customers and team members.
We are currently seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Aircraft Dispatcher / Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis, working approximately 20 to 24 hours per week. This key role supports our diverse flight operations, including flight training, aircraft rental, scenic flights, and charters. The position offers a starting pay of $19 per hour and reports to the operations management team. As the primary point of contact for pilots, students, and customers, the Aircraft Dispatcher / Receptionist plays an essential role in the efficient functioning of daily flight operations. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
The Aircraft Dispatcher / Receptionist is responsible for scheduling and dispatching aircraft in adherence to FAA and TSA regulations, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and operational policies. Handling multi-line phone systems, performing check-ins for flights, managing flight schedules, processing payments, and carrying out various data entry tasks are core duties of the role. Additionally, this position supports general office administrative functions and marketing mail-out efforts, further contributing to the smooth operation of the aviation business.
Candidates with previous office experience, strong customer service capabilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel will be well-positioned for success in this role. While aviation knowledge or prior dispatch experience is advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement, as comprehensive training and guidance will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining or expanding experience in the aviation industry, working in a collaborative and supportive team environment at a reputable flight operations company.
