- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent problem solving abilities

- Willingness to go the extra mile for the customer, company, and team
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Excellent track record in the freight forwarding industry

Job Duties
- Supervise a team of import and export agents to ensure timely customs clearance and transport of shipments
- Ability to build and foster a dynamic team culture aligned with company values
- Delegate work, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing situations to assign work procedures
- Solve problems that may arise with customer shipments
- Oversee billing processes, coordinate collections and resolve major billing problems
- Maintain up-to-date customer profiles and rate structures, support sales team with customer information and rates
- Negotiate rates and contracts with shipping companies and suppliers to optimize costs
- Provide guidance and support to team members on customs procedures, documentation requirements, and trade compliance
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to increase operational efficiency and reduce errors
- Other duties as assigned
