Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or GED preferred
Valid driver’s license
Ability to successfully communicate with others
Ability to work in high noise environments
Ability to lift and move bags weighing up to 70 pounds
Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
Physical fitness to handle manual labor and operation of heavy equipment

Job Qualifications

Ability to communicate effectively with others
Ability to read, write, and understand the English language preferred

Job Duties

Load and unload cargo including mail, express, and company material on and off aircraft
Transport cargo between terminals and aircraft
Perform ramp transfers of cargo as required
Receive, deliver, and physically handle freight, company material, export items, mail, and baggage
Complete necessary forms and messages related to cargo and ramp functions
Assist in loading, unloading, and racking drums
De-ice aircraft and clear windshields
Push out or tow aircraft and perform related guide functions
Connect and remove ground power and ground start units
Perform routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, and facilities
Monitor facility security and report breaches or suspicious activity
