Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a professional kitchen with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain high standards
- Commitment to quality and excellence in food preparation
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as an executive chef or a similar leadership role in a hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen management
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to plan menus and manage food costs
- Familiarity with sanitation and safety standards
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
Job Duties
- Supervise and assist in food preparation for multiple outlets including Restaurant, Room Service, Employee Cafeteria and Banquets
- Ensure highest standards of food quality and presentation based on standardized recipes
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and safety in kitchen, work and storage areas
- Minimize waste and maximize cost and production efficiency
- Plan meals and assist the Food and Beverage Manager with pricing and banquet coordination
- Direct the work of at least 3 full-time associates or their equivalents
- Exercise discretion and independent judgement in daily operations
