Athletes in Action is the sports ministry of Cru, dedicated to impacting the world of sports for Christ. Our mission is to see Christ-followers on every team in every sport, in every nation. Our headquarters are located on a spacious 250-acre athletic complex in Xenia, Ohio, where we host a variety of local, regional, and international events. These include sports competitions, training camps, meetings, and banquets that bring together athletes, coaches, and sports enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds. As a Housekeeper at Athletes in Action, you will play a vital role in ensuring our facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and safety. This part-time position is based on-site in Xenia, Ohio, with work hours typically ranging from 5 to 25 hours per week, including some weekend shifts as needed. Starting pay for this role is $13.75 per hour. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, common areas, meeting spaces, and athletic facilities. Your attentive work will help create welcoming, sanitary, and hospitable environments that contribute significantly to the positive experiences of our guests and clients.
You will perform tasks such as making beds and changing linens, restocking amenities, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms and kitchen areas. Additionally, you will be responsible for removing trash and recycling, reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly, and assisting with special events that require extra cleaning efforts. Inventory management of cleaning supplies, including requesting restocking, is also an important aspect of your responsibilities. Job Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- Willingness to learn and perform housekeeping duties
- Ability to work irregular hours including weekends
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Attention to detail
- Good work ethic and reliability
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning is a plus but not required
- Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

Job Duties
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, common areas, meeting spaces, and athletic facilities
- Make beds, change linens, and restock amenities
