The role of Deli General Manager at Pilot Flying J is an exciting leadership opportunity within this large and dynamic organization. This position oversees high-volume retail facilities, combining responsibilities in food service management and retail operations. As the Deli General Manager, you will be tasked with generating and executing business plans tailored to travel centers and restaurants to meet and exceed established standards, sales targets, profit goals, and customer satisfaction metrics. Your leadership will be central in ensuring that customer expectations are consistently met through excellent service, employee management, and strategic planning. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of management experience in restaurant, deli, or foodservice
- Experience managing a high volume retail environment
- Ability to manage profit and loss responsibilities
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Capacity to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Valid work authorization
