Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of one year experience in front desk or guest services
- strong communication skills
- proven problem-solving capabilities
- fluency in the local language
- literate and tech-savvy
- availability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- physical ability to lift, push and pull objects up to 50 lbs
- willingness to follow safety and security protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least one year of experience in a front desk or guest service role
- strong communication skills
- problem-solving abilities
- fluency in the local language
- literate and tech-savvy with ability to handle reading, writing, basic maths and computer tasks
- flexibility to work night, weekend and holiday shifts
- additional language skills are a plus
Job Duties
- Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable guest experience
- acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests in person or on the phone
- take and manage guest bookings, up-selling opportunities and telling them about ways to improve their stay
- handle cash and credit transactions
- swiftly check guests in and out, take IDs, hand out room keys, and control and release safety deposit boxes
- stay one step ahead of guests’ needs by recording and acting on their preferences, and handling their messages, requests, questions and concerns
- be a trusted contact for all guests, help with anything from bill issues to local knowledge and loop in management when necessary
- follow safety procedures, report all incidents and wear protective gear as needed
- take pride in your appearance and role as a brand ambassador
- always know what events and activities are on the day’s schedule
- assist with other ad-hoc duties when colleagues need help
