Job Duties
- Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable guest experience
- acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests in person or on the phone
- take and manage guest bookings, up-selling opportunities and inform guests about ways to improve their stay
- handle cash and credit transactions
- swiftly check guests in and out, take IDs, hand out room keys, and control and release safety deposit boxes
- stay ahead of guests' needs by recording and acting on preferences, handling messages, requests, questions and concerns
- be a trusted contact for all guests, assist with bill issues and local knowledge, and involve management when necessary
- follow safety procedures, report incidents and wear protective gear as required
- maintain professional appearance and act as a brand ambassador
- stay informed about daily events and activities
- assist with other ad-hoc duties when needed
