The Agent position at Pinkerton in Dallas, Texas offers a full-time, on-site role focused on providing high-caliber protective security services. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, from concierge-level security at company locations or events to performing investigative duties and emergency response coordination. The Agent acts as a frontline representative of Pinkerton's core values and is tasked with not only safeguarding clients but also ensuring a seamless and secure experience tailored to each assignment. Responsibilities include handling residential security, managing access control systems and CCTV, conducting investigations, responding to crisis situations, and providing safe transportation for clients. The role requires the ability to manage tense or emergency situations calmly and effectively while maintaining detailed incident documentation.
Candidates for this position are expected to possess a Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Level II Security License, along with a high school diploma or GED complemented by law enforcement, military, or security experience. Proficiency in customer service, problem resolution, and communication skills is essential to succeed in this role. The working environment demands physical and mental agility, including prolonged periods of sitting or standing, the ability to handle stress during challenging encounters, and flexibility to travel as needed. Job Duties
- represent pinkertons core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence
- provide the client with concierge-level security at the company location and/or events
- deescalate tense situations or individuals that may arise
- write detailed incident reports following any incident, occurrence, or variance that warrants documentation
- conduct quality investigations and complete investigative reports
- provide response services related to emergency and crisis planning, high risk terminations, workforce disruptions, natural disaster, civil unrest, and threat monitoring
- transport the client to and from company location and/or events
- secure the clients residential perimeter and review CCTV, manage access controls, and respond to alarms, as needed
- identify and escalate equipment deficiencies/failures
- all other duties, as assigned
