The Security Agent role at Pinkerton is designed for professionals keen on providing concierge-level security services across various settings including corporate locations, residential sites, and events. This role goes beyond traditional security functions by incorporating investigative tasks, emergency response, and client transportation duties, making it a dynamic position requiring vigilance, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations. The agent will be responsible for managing access controls, monitoring CCTV systems, responding to alarms, and conducting thorough investigations as needed. Responsibilities also include deescalating tense situations, writing detailed reports on incidents, and ensuring the safety of clients through proactive security measures. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Security, law enforcement or military experience required
- NC PPS Unarmed and Armed Security Officer Training Certificate required
- CCW and/or HR-218/LEOSA check for annual firearm qualification required
- Completion of Pinkerton’s licensing process including verification of required licenses
- Ability to perform physical requirements including sitting, standing, walking, lifting small objects, and operating office equipment
- Capacity to handle stressful situations and make rapid decisions during emergencies
- Willingness to travel as required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED

- Completion of Pinkerton's licensing process
- Concierge-level customer service knowledge
- Ability to complete thorough and accurate investigations and reports
- Experience with access control systems, CCTV, and alarm monitoring
- Strong problem resolution skills
- Effective interaction across diverse cultures
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
Job Duties
- Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence
- Provide concierge-level security at company locations and/or events
- Deescalate tense situations or individuals
- Write detailed incident reports following any incident, occurrence, or variance
- Conduct quality investigations and complete investigative reports
- Provide response services related to emergency and crisis planning, high risk terminations, workforce disruptions, natural disaster, civil unrest, and threat monitoring
- Transport clients to and from company locations and/or events
- Secure the client’s residential perimeter and review CCTV, manage access controls, and respond to alarms as needed
- Identify and escalate equipment deficiencies/failures
- Perform all other duties as assigned
