The role of the Security Agent at Pinkerton involves performing a variety of security assignments including concierge-level security, residential and event security, response services, basic driving, and conducting investigations. This position is structured with a specific work schedule: Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Mondays and Tuesdays from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The Security Agent will uphold Pinkerton’s core values by providing exceptional security services, maintaining client safety, and responding to emergency situations. The role requires the ability to deescalate tense circumstances, manage access control systems, monitor CCTV, and respond to alarms as necessary. Further responsibilities also include conducting thorough investigations with detailed reporting, assisting with emergency response plans, transporting clients where needed, and ensuring the security of residential perimeters.
The successful candidate will work in environments that may place physical and mental demands, requiring the capacity to manage stressful situations effectively. Tasks involve regular computer use, occasional lifting, decision-making during emergencies, and physical activity such as sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods. Travel may be required based on client needs. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- law enforcement, military, or security experience
- active DPSST Armed Private Security Professional License
- OR FQC Carry License
- ability to perform physical and mental functions essential to the role including decision-making under stress
- willingness to travel as required

- able to complete thorough and accurate investigations and reports
- access control systems, CCTV, and alarm monitoring experience

- effective verbal and written communication skills
- computer knowledge including Microsoft Office
Job Duties
- represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence
- provide the client with concierge-level security at the company location and/or events
- deescalate tense situations or individuals that may arise
- write detailed incident reports following any incident, occurrence, or variance that warrants documentation
- conduct quality investigations and complete investigative reports
- provide response services related to emergency and crisis planning, high risk terminations, workforce disruptions, natural disaster, civil unrest, and threat monitoring
- transport the client to and from company location and/or events
- secure the client’s residential perimeter and review CCTV, manage access controls, and respond to alarms, as needed
- identify and escalate equipment deficiencies/failures
- perform all other duties as assigned
