Job Description
Pinkerton is a prestigious global leader in the risk management and security services industry, boasting over 170 years of demonstrated excellence and influence worldwide. The company is renowned for its commitment to preserving the safety and integrity of its clients through tailored enterprise risk management services and bespoke security programs. With a rich heritage spanning more than a century and a half, Pinkerton has established itself as a trusted partner for businesses seeking comprehensive protection solutions supported by industry expertise and innovative approaches.
As a dynamic and inclusive employer, Pinkerton values the diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives that each employee brings to the organization. Team members at Pinkerton are considered invaluable assets, playing a critical role in upholding the core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence. The company fosters an empowering environment where employees can thrive, contribute meaningful work, and participate in advancing world-class risk management solutions across various sectors.
The Agent role at Pinkerton is designed to encompass a broad spectrum of security assignments that include concierge-level services, residential and event security, emergency response, basic driving, and investigative duties. This position calls for individuals who are not only physically capable and mentally alert but also adept at managing complex, high-pressure situations with diplomacy and professionalism. Agents serve as the frontline representation of Pinkerton, delivering exceptional security services tailored to meet unique client needs while ensuring a secure environment.
Key responsibilities involve providing concierge-level client service at organizational locations and special events, which demands excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills. The role requires deescalation capabilities to manage tense or potentially volatile scenarios, ensuring safety and order without escalation. Accurate and detailed incident reporting is a fundamental component of the job, as is conducting thorough investigations and composing comprehensive investigative reports to document occurrences meticulously.
Agents also actively participate in response services aligned with emergency and crisis planning efforts, addressing situations such as workforce disruptions, natural disasters, civil unrest, high-risk terminations, and ongoing threat monitoring to safeguard client interests. Operational duties include transporting clients safely to and from company sites or events and securing residential perimeters by monitoring access control systems, CCTV feeds, and responding promptly to alarms or security breaches.
This role requires careful equipment management, including identifying and escalating any deficiencies or failures in security hardware. The Agent position is well suited to individuals who thrive in environments that blend technology usage with hands-on safety enforcement and customer-focused security delivery.
Candidates for this role will be supported by a company culture that prioritizes continuous improvement, ethical standards, and collaborative success. Pinkerton’s commitment to equal opportunities ensures that all applicants are considered based on merit and potential without discrimination. Working at Pinkerton offers a chance to join a family of industry experts dedicated to safeguarding tomorrow’s challenges today while contributing to a global impact that spans industries and borders.
