The role of AG-Technician, TGM/Outlook w/CDL, based in Carson, CA, focuses on delivering and servicing a major refinery in Los Angeles County along with supporting customer storerooms related to inventory of gases, consumables, and safety products. This position requires performing basic troubleshooting and mechanical repairs as needed, focusing on servicing existing accounts throughout an assigned territory. The technician is responsible for the delivery and replenishment of various industrial and specialty gases to customer use points, maintaining customer relationships, entering orders in company and customer systems, and overseeing inventory levels to ensure appropriate reordering. Compensation for this role ranges from $30 to $35 per hour based on experience.   • Experience with welding and safety products or related industrial products a plus
  • Hold a valid CDL Class A or B license with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsements
  • Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Self-starter

  • Demonstrated planning skills and outstanding personal relationship skills

Job Duties

  • Delivery and replenishment of various industrial and specialty gases to customer use points
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and repair mechanical systems as needed
  • Maintain customer relationships
  • Enter orders in both Airgas and customer systems
  • Review manual stock levels of various inventories at multiple plant departments for reorder
  • Maintain dedicated branch inventory levels for proper replenishment
  • Track and turn in delivery tickets and consignment fill tickets
