Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
- One month related experience or training or equivalent combination
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to comprehend and write simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively
- Basic math skills with money and time calculations
- Ability to operate manual transmission desired
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers, multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s using American money units
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a friendly demeanor
- Use guest last names during interactions
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
- Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and/or amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
- Deliver messages, items and/or guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved places
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
- Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
