The role of Production Baker at Too Sweet Cakes is a full-time position designed for individuals passionate about baking and eager to contribute to a busy, dynamic kitchen environment. Scheduled from 12pm to 8pm and typically working 35-40 hours per week, this role demands an attentive, organized professional well-versed in baking processes and standards. The Production Baker will focus on executing daily and weekly wholesale orders by adhering strictly to established recipes, production procedures, and quality control measures. Key to this position is a strong sense of teamwork and communication, especially collaborating closely with the Back of House Manager to ensure all production goals are met efficiently and with excellence.

As part of your daily responsibilities, you will handle ingredient preparation, product assembly, proper use of kitchen equipment such as mixers, dough sheeters, and ovens, and maintain sanitation and storage standards to meet health and safety regulations. The Production Baker ensures that all baked products meet Too Sweet Cakes' high standards before they leave the kitchen, monitoring shelf life and product quality carefully. Job Requirements

1-2 years of baking or pastry experience preferred but not required
Food Handlers Certificate required
Strong passion for baking and food industry
Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50-75 lbs occasionally
Attention to detail and quality control
Availability to work morning shifts and schedule flexibility

Job Qualifications

1-2 years of baking or pastry experience preferred but not required
Understanding of proper pastry methods, techniques, and industry standards
Food Handlers Certificate required
Strong interest in high-quality baked goods and the food industry
Excellent time management skills
Ability to meet deadlines efficiently
Attention to detail and quality control
Comfortable working morning shifts
Flexibility in schedule

Job Duties

Collaborate proactively with the Back of House Manager during all shifts
Follow established recipes, procedures, and guides including assembly and equipment SOPs
Ensure timely completion of orders while maintaining high product quality
Maintain a sanitary and organized work environment
Monitor proper storage and shelf life of baked goods
Follow health and safety regulations and food safety guidelines
Use kitchen tools and equipment safely and efficiently
Monitor baking processes for quality control and adjust as necessary
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Back of House Manager
