Serving as a critical link within the organ donation and transplantation community, LifeShare Network operates with a mission-driven approach focused on honoring every gift, supporting every family, and advancing the cause of organ donation. Their innovative and collaborative efforts ensure maximum utilization of every donation opportunity, providing hope to thousands of patients who await life-saving transplants across Oklahoma and beyond. LifeShare Network is recognized for operational excellence and a deep commitment to compassion, transparency, and community engagement. The organization also prides itself on fostering a supportive work environment where meaningful service and dedication combine to create a tangible impact on human lives. LifeShare Network offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package to its employees alongside professional development opportunities, enabling team members to grow within a rewarding career path.
The role of the Aftercare & Communications Coordinator at LifeShare Network is both compassionate and influential, blending administrative coordination with heartfelt support. This position plays a vital role in providing ongoing comfort and connection to donor families, ensuring they feel valued and remembered long after the event of donation. The Aftercare & Communications Coordinator is responsible for managing a suite of responsibilities including family aftercare, communication programs, volunteer engagement, and community outreach. This multi-faceted role requires an individual who is highly organized, possesses exceptional communication skills, and maintains a passion for serving families during emotionally challenging times.
In this capacity, the coordinator facilitates compassionate aftercare support through phone calls and correspondence, coordinates communication between donor families and transplant recipients with sensitivity and confidentiality, and manages the distribution of grief resources and educational materials. Additionally, the position involves maintaining accurate records within Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, coordinating LifeShare Network’s volunteer program from recruitment through ongoing engagement, supporting public outreach efforts such as community events and educational initiatives, and collaborating with the Communications team on various projects to increase awareness around organ donation. The role occasionally requires presence at evening or weekend events and may involve travel throughout the state, with mileage reimbursed for business use of personal vehicles.
LifeShare Network seeks candidates who combine empathy with organizational proficiency and communication excellence. This position offers not only the chance to contribute substantially to the lives of donor families and their communities but also to be part of a culture where every team member’s efforts are essential and valued. Through this role, employees help foster hope, honor generosity, and inspire a broader understanding and appreciation of organ donation, making a genuine difference each day.
