The role of Teacher at Champions, a segment of KinderCare Learning Companies, focuses on supporting elementary-aged children during out-of-school hours on school grounds. This position is integral to the company’s mission of providing quality care and education by engaging young students in inspiring learning experiences. As a Teacher, you will mentor less experienced teachers, model appropriate behaviors, and provide constructive feedback to elevate classroom standards. Your responsibilities will include implementing KinderCare’s curriculum tailored to the unique needs of each child, fostering a safe and stimulating environment for play and learning, and cultivating strong partnerships with families and community stakeholders. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with center staff and leadership to contribute to overall center success by helping achieve enrollment, accreditation, and family engagement goals.

Job Requirements
- Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
- approved state trainer (preferred)
- 2-3 years early childhood education experience (preferred)
- bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
- meet state specific qualifications or willingness to obtain
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
- physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors
- able to assume low postures to engage physically and visually with children
- read, write, understand and speak English to communicate with children and parents
