The Child Development Center (CDC) is a highly respected private, not-for-profit preschool located in Southwest Austin, known for its commitment to excellence in early childhood education. We are currently seeking a full-time After School Site Director for our licensed After School CREW Program, specifically serving elementary students at one of the 11 schools located in Southwest Austin. This salaried exempt position offers an excellent career opportunity for an energetic and organized leader passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children. The role demands a hands-on approach to daily operations management including staff supervision, program development, and fostering strong community and school partnerships.

The After School Site Director will be responsible for overseeing every facet of their school site’s after-school program. This includes managing assistant teachers, ensuring compliance with CDC policies and licensing standards, and cultivating an environment where children are engaged in high-quality enrichment activities that promote both personal growth and community values. The Site Director is pivotal in creating a safe, welcoming space for students and staff alike, directly contributing to the positive experience that aligns with the CDC’s core values. This role requires excellent organizational and leadership skills, along with a compassionate approach to mentorship and operations.

The position runs full-time throughout the school year, from August through May, Monday through Friday, with hours typically 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The summer schedule varies.
