The Aegis Tactical Action Officer Ballistic Missile Defense Officer (BMDO) role at GDIT is a pivotal position that contributes to securing critical operations that keep the nation safe. The position requires deep technical expertise with at least eight years of experience related to tactical action officer or ballistic missile defense operations, including substantial shipboard exposure and operational watch-standing capabilities. The individual in this role will provide master-level training and serve as an instructor in a Navy training environment, responsible for curriculum development, test preparation, instructional evaluation, and student counseling. The Training Specialist Principal is also responsible for ensuring effective interfacing with training systems and simulators to meet learning objectives, often standing for extended periods during instruction sessions.

This role demands a security clearance at the Secret level and requires U.S. citizenship. The successful candidate should also be prepared for limited travel, up to 10 percent of the time. The salary range for this position is competitive, typically between $96,569 and $130,651, with actual compensation reflecting experience, location, and other factors.
