The role of Advisor, Defense Marketing at Bombardier is critical in supporting the marketing and event management objectives of our Defense division, particularly within the Learjet Inc organization. Based primarily out of Dallas Service Center (Love Field) with remote options in LJT, Wichita, ADMN/MFG Learjet, the position offers regular employment status with competitive compensation, aligning with our comprehensive benefits program that supports employee wellbeing and career fulfillment.

In this position, you will be responsible for planning and flawlessly executing large-scale Tier 1 or Tier 2 complex events often with over 150 attendees, including customer events, briefings, product launches, industry and PR events, and trade shows. You will also oversee sponsorship opportunities, partnering with potential sponsors, managing sponsorship packages, and handling invoicing and revenue collection. Managing event budgets and ensuring that the Bombardier Defense brand is well represented fall under your remit, along with sourcing and managing suppliers to support these events.

Providing onsite support during events and creating detailed Event Information Packages that include logistics such as hotel accommodations, badge management, transport, and attendee coordination are key responsibilities. This role demands an experienced individual with a strategic mindset and impeccable organizational skills to ensure the smooth execution of high-profile events that enhance Bombardier’s brand visibility and client relationships globally.

To thrive in this role, a minimum of 5 years in marketing or events is typically required. The ideal candidate is proactive, able to overcome obstacles with minimal supervision, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent experience in a related field. Strong interpersonal, telephone, and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to travel frequently domestically and internationally (15-25%).
