Managed Mobile, Inc. is a premier leader in commercial fleet maintenance, operating across key states including California, Texas, and Nevada. Known for its dedication to excellence and innovation, the company has positioned itself as the market leader by consistently delivering superior maintenance services that ensure fleet reliability and regulatory compliance for its diverse client base. The company thrives on its core values which focus on developing great people, enhancing the client experience, and fostering a robust company culture grounded in integrity and professionalism. Joining Managed Mobile, Inc. means becoming part of a forward-thinking team that is committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in the field of mobile fleet maintenance.
The Preventative Maintenance (PM) Technician position is a critical role within Managed Mobile, Inc., designed for professionals seeking career advancement in mobile diesel technology. This full-time role offers competitive annual compensation in the range of $90,000 to $110,000 and includes comprehensive benefits such as 401(k) with company match, medical, dental, vision, health insurance, and paid vacation and sick leave based on tenure. The PM Technician is entrusted with the responsibility of performing scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections on a variety of commercial vehicles, primarily focusing on Class 6 to Class 8 tractors and trailers. This role demands proficiency in executing A and B-level preventative maintenance tasks and Department of Transportation (DOT) inspections to uphold fleet safety and compliance standards.
Working as a PM Technician at Managed Mobile, Inc. involves engaging directly with clients, making it essential to maintain strong communication skills and a professional demeanor. You will be expected to manage a flexible schedule with daily varying start times from Monday through Friday, demonstrating adaptability and commitment to meeting tightly scheduled maintenance timelines. The role requires the use of computer diagnostics and an in-depth understanding of diesel engine systems to perform maintenance efficiently and accurately. The ability to undertake minor repair work as needed, particularly in trailer maintenance and diesel engine diagnostics, makes this role versatile and vital to the operational success of the fleet services provided.
The position also places a high emphasis on safety, compliance, and reliability, ensuring that all serviced units meet the stringent standards of Managed Mobile, Inc. and regulatory bodies such as the CVSA. Equipment operated by the PM Technician includes commercial Class 6 to 8 diesel engines with a focus on no overhaul repairs on Class 8 tractors and trailers. The ideal candidate will not only have strong technical skills but also the physical capability to work in extreme weather conditions and pass necessary background checks, including drug screenings and motor vehicle record (MVR) verification. This role is tailored for experienced mobile technicians who aspire to grow their expertise in diesel maintenance while contributing to the sustained excellence and safety of commercial fleet operations under Managed Mobile's trusted banner.
